SoundFont is a brand name that collectively refers to a file format and associated technology that uses sample-based synthesis to play MIDI files. It was first used on the Sound Blaster AWE32 sound card for its General MIDI. Files in this and all other 2.x formats (see below) conventionally have the file extension of SF2.

Congratulations on your new work. Since I know how much self-sacrifice (devotion) and time these works require, I offer my special respects to you. I hope you will continue your works. There is something I have observed (and I am not satisfied with) in forums: such announcements unfortunately do not get enough feedback. And the soundfont creator is going away from the necessary motivation. This is not something I am ever glad about.

Soundfonts Link: Hello. I have an old blog post where I listed the General MIDI soundfonts I have. Someone requested that I share the soundfonts, so I uploaded my soundfont folder to Google Drive. While this is nowhere near the size of the ZSF Distribution, there may be a few soundfonts here that are hard to download elsewhere, like Shadow 1.0. For the sake of convenience, most of the soundfonts are in the root folder. The subfolders generally contain text files or demo tracks that came with the soundfonts.
